Remove
existing fiberglass shower unit

Remove
old shower plumbing fixtures and drain

Thoroughly clean and seal concrete floor

Apply
two layers of tar paper to the three shower walls
from floor to ceiling.

Repair
hot and cold water pipes and install shutoff valves
on each pipe.

Install
the new shower control valve and shower head pipe.
-
Build the
front shower lip using 2x4's and wonder board.
-
Attach
wonder board to all three shower walls with screws,
leaving holes for shower head pipe and shower
control valve.
-
Cover
and seal all wonder board joints.
-
Apply
tile to three walls from ceiling to 3 rows above
floor.
-
Install the
four support shelves in the shower corners.
-
Grout all
the wall tile.
-
Install
rubber shower pan material to floor and glue eddge
together.
-
Install the
new shower drain.
-
Pour several
inches of concrete into the shower pan and form the
sloping surface so water flows to the drain.
-
Apply the
floor tile.
-
Finish
cutting and applying the bottom rows of wall tile.
-
Apply tile
to the shower lip.
-
Do final
grouting of all tile and apply calking to all corner
joints.

Seal all
grout lines

Install the
plexiglass sliding shower door
