MoodyCalc

MoodyCalc computes the pressure and head loss for incompressible flow through a circular pipe using the standard Darcy-Weisbach equation.  Laminar, turbulent, and transitional flow regimes are considered.  For turbulent flow the friction factor is computed by solving the nonlinear Colebrook equation using Newton-Raphson iteration.  MoodyCalc includes a database of 13 different pipe materials and 23 different fluid materials.  The GUI supports three different sets of units and provides four different methods for specifying the flow rate.  A help file with complete documentation and references is included.  The right mouse button context menu provides several options for loading, saving, and printing the program input and output.
